Rising Healthcare Costs

Are your healthcare costs rising due to employees with lifestyle related health problems such as obesity, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes? Rising healthcare costs are a concern for most companies and in North and South Carolina 59% percent of companies had a health insurance premium increase, according to the Compensation Data 2007 – Carolinas annual survey of 248 employers. The September 2007 results reported the average premium increase was 9.6 percent for all plan types.
