The SiMT joins Alioscopy and 11 industry partners to Demonstrate Integrated Solutions and Advancements for the Growing Auto-stereoscopic 'no-glasses' 3D Market

Florence SC – May 18, 2010 – The Southeastern Institute of Manufacturing and Technology today announced it will attend InfoComm 2010 (June 9th – 11th), the largest and most comprehensive pro-Audio (AV) event in the world, with more than 32,000 AV professionals and 900+ exhibitors at the Las Vegas Convention Center.  The SiMT will join 11 other industry partners to demonstrate its Auto-Stereoscopic 3D No-Glasses Content Development Services.  The SiMT will be in the Alioscopy Pavilion in the LVCC North Hall, Booth N3062 as part of the InfoComm 3D Pavilion.

The SiMT's 3D Virtual Reality Center has been developing and providing turn-key 3D content and display systems to business and industry clients and is directly impacting the growing market demands for auto-stereoscopic 3D technology solutions in digital signage, commercial and consumer market development.

"The SiMT is a valuable strategic partner with Alioscopy, and we are happy to have their innovative technologies represented in the Alioscopy Pavilion at InfoComm 2010", said Phillippe Roche, CEO of Alioscopy USA.  "With increasing business-to-business (B2B) opportunities for the digital signage, retail, and entertainment markets driven by the massively popular 3D stereoscopic cinema and home entertainment industry, the SiMT is helping create the technology, services, and market penetration needed to facilitate wide spread adoption of auto-stereoscopic 'no-glasses' 3D content creation and consumption," added Roche.

"Alioscopy has been a pioneer in auto-stereoscopic 'no-glasses' 3D hardware, software, and business development for the past two decades, and has become an important strategic partner with the SiMT, as both companies bring the highest quality hardware and content solutions to new markets hungry for new ways to capture the attention of customers and clients," said Mike Mazen, Assistant Director and Manager of the 3D Virtual Reality Center at the SiMT.  "At InfoComm 2010 we will demonstrate how our content development services are directly impacting and contributing to the vision we share with Alioscopy".
