JetMachining® is a proven process in precision part production. The OMAX JetMachining® Centers make complex flat parts out of most materials—including metal, plastic, glass, ceramics, and composites—to a dynamic positioning accuracy of up to ±0.001", directly from a CAD drawing or DXF file. The JetMachining Center also cuts extremely hard, reflective, and non-conductive materials, making it a natural addition to existing shop capabilities.

The Precision Optical Locator (POL) facilitates precision JetMachining of pre-machined components, such as die stripper plates. The POL is designed to let you accurately place parts on the OMAX® for secondary machining operations. You can place the parts in any orientation, and the software will automatically rotate the tool path to match the placement of the part.
Benefits:
The Precision Optical Locator uses modern compact video technology to precisely locate any points, edges or holes on a pre-machined piece
of material that is placed on the OMAX cutting table. The software package then reorients the cutting program to precisely align with the located features.
Tilt-A-Jet lets the OMAX® JetMachining® Center achieve virtually zero taper with most materials. The Tilt-A-Jet can position the nozzle at an angle calculated by the software to exactly offset the taper from the abrasivejet. Taper doesn't disappear--it just gets moved to the scrap part of the material, leaving your part with exactly square edges.
