The 3D/Virtual Reality Center is packed with leading-edge visualization systems that provide multiple immersive environments capable of engaging workgroups of one to 800 participants.
Content Development Services
The VR Studio located on the 2nd floor is occupied by the development group who are involved in the creation of visualization applications and immersive technologies. The 3D/VR Center is one of the leading visualization resources for commercial, industry, government and manufacturing clients. Developers turn 3D CAD designs into a multi-sensory experience; develop immersive presentations for Special Events, Marketing, Advertising and Branding Campaigns, Sales Presentations, Immersive Training Applications, Infotainment Experiences, Virtual Prototyping and Scientific Applications.
Research
The VR Center offers short term office space in its development studio for groups from out of the area who may be working on visualization projects. Clients using the VR Studio for development or training have access to the facilities visualization displays.
Training/Seminars/Conferences
The VR Center's training laboratory offers a wide variety of technical training on software packages used in the development of 3D Visualization Applications. Seminars and Conferences are offered periodically throughout the year.
Equipment Rental
Portable 3D projection systems may be rented for small group presentations away from the 3D center. Larger screen displays and projection systems are also available for clients who wish to bring the immersive experience to their location or display stereo presentations at trade shows or conferences. On-site display systems may also be rented on an hourly or daily basis for visiting clients.
Consulting
3D/VR Center staff are available for consulting services to assist clients in defining, designing, developing and delivering visualization and simulation applications to any audience of any size.
Telepresence Suite
While many of today's visual communications solutions are adequate for ordinary collaboration sessions, only telepresence promises a truly life-like experience that mimics an in-person session. For highly critical or strategic meetings, this personal dimension can mean the difference between success and failure. Because of its remarkable quality and true you-are-there experience, telepresence helps companies train and educate their virtual workers, as well as strategic partners and even key customers. Executive Telepresence and Telepodium technologies are available at hourly rates.
Executive Briefing Center
Also located on the second floor next to the 3D/VR Center is an Executive Briefing Center with full 3D Stereo capability, standard videoconferencing or telepresence collaboration. The briefing center includes an adjacent Executive Dining Room.
